چکیده
Abstract Grazing events may create coexisting attractors and cause complex dynamics in piecewise-smooth dynamical systems. This paper studies the control of grazing-induced multistability a soft impacting oscillator by using time-delayed feedback control. The switches from one to desired suppress near grazing events. We use path-following (continuation) techniques for non-smooth systems investigate robustness controller parameter dependence controlled system. In particular, several newly developed computational methods are used, including numerical method analysing delay equations calculating Lyapunov exponents point estimation. Numerical simulations demonstrate that delayed is effective, proper selection gain time can simplify system grazing.

Time-delayed Feedback Control of the Energy Resource Chaotic System
In this paper, the control of energy resource chaotic system is investigated by timedelayed feedback control (TDFC) method. The controllability and the stability of the equilibriums of the system are verified. Several stabile periodic orbits are got in the numerical simulations, which shows the effectively of TDFC method.
متن کاملFeedback Control of Border Collision Bifurcations in Piecewise Smooth Systems
Feedback controls that stabilize border collision bifurcations are designed for piecewise smooth systems undergoing border collision bifurcations. The paper begins with a summary of the main results on border collision bifurcations, and proceeds to a study of stabilization of these bifurcations for one-dimensional systems using both static and dynamic feedback. The feedback can be applied on on...
متن کاملTime-Delayed Quantum Feedback Control.
A theory of time-delayed coherent quantum feedback is developed. More specifically, we consider a quantum system coupled to a bosonic reservoir creating a unidirectional feedback loop. It is shown that the dynamics can be mapped onto a fictitious series of cascaded quantum systems, where the system is driven by past versions of itself. The derivation of this model relies on a tensor network rep...
متن کاملtime - delayed feedback control in autonomous systems
We propose a necessary condition for the successful stabilization of a periodic orbit, using the extended version of time-delayed feedback control. This condition depends on the number of real Floquetmultipliers larger than unity and is therefore related to the wellknown odd-number limitation in non-autonomous systems. We show that the period of the orbit that is induced by mismatching the dela...
متن کاملFinite Extinction Time via Delayed Feedback Actions
We study the “finite extinction phenomenon” for solutions of parabolic reaction-diffusion equations of the type ∂u ∂t −∆u+ b(t)f(u(t− τ,x)) = 0, (t,x) ∈ (0,+∞)×Ω, with a delay term τ > 0. Here Ω is an open and bounded set in R , b ≥ 0, f is a continuous function, u(t,x) satisfies a homogeneous Neumann or Dirichlet boundary condition on (0,+∞)×∂Ω and some functional initial condition u(s,x) = u0...
